Cityscape Flats project may be shifting its plans

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A major Fort Wayne development is changing its course a little bit.

Construction got underway recently for the Cityscape Flats project across the street from Parkview Field. The initial idea was to create 177 rental units featuring studios, one and two bedroom apartments and rowhouses.

Now, however, the project has changed course, according to the News-Sentinel.

Fourteen of those rowhouses will be for sale to buyers instead of rented out if the developer’s proposed change passes the Fort Wayne Planning Commission.

The commission will decide on the change on August 8.
