Third guilty plea in BAE Systems fraud case

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A 24th indictment has been issued in the BAE Systems education fraud case.

Brian Dunbar was indicted this week in U.S. District Court and has agreed to plead guilty to one count of wire fraud, according to the News-Sentinel. Dunbar is accused of taking $12,500. His could spend up to 20 years in prison and pay a $250,000 fine.

The two dozen former employees indicted are accused of exploiting a 2013 company policy that paid them in advance for tuition costs, using company software to falsify documents.

Latonya Smith pleaded guilty has month, and the Journal Gazette reported Wednesday that David Rinderle, Jr. will plead guilty to wire fraud on April 16.
