STEUBEN COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): Friday morning, just after 10:40 a.m., the US Marshals Service in northern Indiana, along with the Steuben County Sheriff’s Department, apprehended a wanted non-compliant registered sex offender.

An arrest warrant for Lexie Martin was issued on Thursday for one count of failure to register as a sex or violent offender. The arrest warrant followed an investigation into Martin allegedly not reporting a change in required information on time, to the Sheriff’s Office.

Martin was found at a home in Steuben County where he was taken into custody. Martin was booked into the Steuben County Jail on one count of failure to register as a sex or violent offender, a level 6 felony. Martin remains held in the Steuben County jail on a $3,000.00 bond pending an initial court appearance.
