ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): The Allen County Sheriff’s Department has received several phone calls about a recent phone scam. 

Homeowners are being called and told that they owe a debt. The victims are then informed, if they don’t send money a warrant will be issued for their arrest. 

The Allen County Sheriff’s Department says if anyone receives a solicitation for money based on the above scenario, don’t send any money.
