Amazon Web Services Expanding New Carlisle Data Center In Wetlands

NEW CARLISLE, Ind. (WOWO) — Locals and environmentalists are urging Amazon to avoid disrupting the wetlands.

Local resident Dan Caruso says Amazon was previously informed about the wetlands.

The Indiana Department of Environmental Management has extended the public comment period before deciding on the project.

Comments can be submitted by March 20 to the Army Corps of Engineers and by March 21 to the Environmental Management Department.
