Blackford County Man Jailed After Shooting, Police Chase

BLACKFORD COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): A Blackford County man is in jail following a shooting and a nearly 25-mile police pursuit.

According to WANE-TV, Montpelier police responded Friday evening and found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds before a suspect fled the scene in a vehicle.

Investigators say the suspect led multiple agencies on a chase across several counties before being taken into custody.

Twenty-eight-year-old Vincent Wesley is now facing charges including attempted murder and aggravated battery.
