NORTHEAST INDIANA (WOWO): The National Weather Service has confirmed six tornadoes touched down during Thursday night’s severe storms across the region.

According to WANE-TV, three EF-1 tornadoes were reported in Huntington County, with additional tornadoes confirmed in Wabash, Jay, LaGrange, Steuben and Kosciusko counties.

Damage surveys are still underway as crews continue assessing the full impact across northeast Indiana communities.
