Bodies of man, woman found in rural western Ind.

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (AP) – Authorities are investigating the deaths of a man and a woman whose bodies were found in western Indiana.

Indiana State Police says people riding ATVs reported finding the bodies about 10 p.m. Saturday in rural northwestern Vigo County outside Terre Haute. The bodies were found under a small bridge on a driveway leading to an abandoned home. A truck belonging to one of the victims was found nearby.

Police say the victims appeared to have been dead for a few days. Police say they believe the victims were in a relationship and were middle age or older. The bodies were partially decomposed.

Autopsies are scheduled for Monday.
