City 911 Service Limited Because Of Storms

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The City of Fort Wayne says the Police, Fire, Public Works, Utilities and Parks departments are all working to clean up after this mornings storms.

As of 11:45 a.m., they say there is limited 911 capabilities. All non-emergency calls should be directed to the City's 311 Citizen Services Department call center. They also say several streets are closed due to high water and trees being down, and intersections without power to the traffic signal should be treated as a four-way stop.

“City crews are out in full force responding to our most recent weather situation,” said Mayor Tom Henry. “Please use caution today as we come together as a City to help one another.”
