FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The rainfall record was broken this weekend in Fort Wayne.

Rainfall totals on Thursday broke the June rainfall record of 8.92″. On Saturday, the record spiked even more as a low pressure system bumped the June rainfall total up to 11.74″- making June the wettest month in Fort Wayne since July of 1986. 

According to our Partners in News at 21Alive, more rain is expected through the end of the month and into July.
