NEW HAVEN, Ind. (WOWO): The City of New Haven is showing off Monday night.

The city is hosting a public open house for all residents of New Haven from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. Monday at the Police Training Room in City Hall.

Mayor Terry McDonald along with other staff members and committees will conduct the event. The idea, according to McDonald, is to have the community come together to discuss what’s happening in the community, from upcoming events like Canal Days and the 150th Anniversary Celebration to road projects, planning and zoning, and neighborhood code enforcement.
