FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The City of Fort Wayne is offering help to homeowners who suffered damage in this past weekend’s wind storm.

The Office of Housing and Neighborhood Services’ Homeowner Repair Loan Program is now open to qualified residents, offering interest-free seven-year loans to residents within city limits who own their home and use it as their primary residence.

Applicants must have a household income at or below 80% of the Area Median Income, which for a family of four would be around $52,000.

If you’re interested in applying, call 427-8585 or click here for more information. Funding is limited, was provided through a grant from the US Department of Housing and Urban Development, and is available on a first-come, first-considered basis.
