FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Several county agencies are asking for more money in the 2014 Allen County Budget.

Six departments want a total of about $1.3 million dollars added to their bottom line for next year. According to the News-Sentinel, the Sheriff's department ask for more than $793,000.

Most of the extra monies would be for new squad cars.  The report says about 47 cars in the department have 100,000 miles, or more. 

The Allen Superior Court wants $298,000 and another $149,000 would go to the juvenile justice center.

County Council will consider the increases at their next meeting, in mid-September.
