FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): 2015 was a good year for Allen County's Shovel-Ready Business Park.

Commissioner Nelson Peters tells WOWO News the 500-acre park, dedicated to bringing more businesses and companies to Allen County, opened in August 2014:

“And we have just about all but fifty-five acres of that getting ready to be filled. We've got some neat announcements coming in 2016.”

Peters didn't say what those announcements would be, but added that the County has recouped virtually all of the taxpayer dollars spent in acquiring the land back in 2009.
