FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Two people who died in separate crashes over the weekend, including one that closed down a portion of I-469 Friday, have been identified.

22-year-old Ion Filipenco of Chicago was pronounced dead at the scene of a multiple vehicle crash that happened Friday morning on I-469 near I-69. He was the driver of a semi that burst into flames after hitting a van and then ramming into the back of another semi. 

Also, 87-year-old Damon Kolkman of Fort Wayne was pronounced dead at the scene Saturday morning on US 27 South at Benzinger Road; his vehicle was hit when he pulled into another vehicle's path. 

These two deaths bring Fort Wayne and Allen County's number of traffic fatalities for 2015 to 31.
