Decatur Seeking Help Combating Vandalism

Decatur leaders are asking for more eyes and ears in combating vandalism in the city.



Mayor John Schlutz says people have been trashing restrooms, damaging drinking fountains and other mischief. He says they'll likely increase police patrols in the area, but they the public's help is vital.



“We just want to nip it in the bud. So we are asking the public to help us out,” he said.



Schultz says the Park Board is actively investigating into to solutions to the vandalism.
