LAGRANGE, Ind. (WOWO): A father is in LaGrange County Jail after he drove his car into a telephone pole with an 11 year old passenger in the car.

The accident happened at the intersection of 375 E and 700 N in LaGrange County, according to a press release.

Javier Munoz of Sturgis and the young passenger were not hurt, but Munoz failed three sobriety tests. His preliminary blood alcohol content was registered at .175.

Munoz is charged with OWI, neglect, criminal recklessness, and four additional traffic citations.
