FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A shooting outside a Fort Wayne bar has left one man dead.

Allen County Sherriff's responded to a call around 3:49 a.m. Sunday morning at the Dupont Bar & Grill on 10336 N. Clinton Street. 

Officers found 32-year-old Damian Miller II of Fort Wayne, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound in front of the bar. He was pronounced dead on the scene. 

Police determined by witness accounts that the man was involved in an altercation inside the bar with another man. The argument continued outside the bar where the man was shot.

Miller is the first homicide in 2014 for Fort Wayne and Allen County.

The incident remains under investigation.
