FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Fort Wayne emergency crews are now able to go even further in-depth in their EMS training.

Our news partners at 21Alive report the Fort Wayne Fire Department has bought an “advance life support simulator”, which will help their newest recruits learn how to build intuitions they can use in the field to better handle emergency calls, and treat patients faster and more effectively.

It’s not a brand-new simulator, however. The department bought a demonstration model that has all of the features they need, yet came at a bargain price.
