FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A father has been charged in injuring his 5-month-old baby during a fight with the child's mother.

50-year-old Philip Sheets was charged Thursday with battery after he got into a fight with his wife of the last five years.

The woman was shoved while holding their young son, which caused the child to hit his forehead on the shelf. The incident happened last November and the baby sustained minor injuries.
