FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The FBI is now investigating the recent string of shootings in Fort Wayne. According to our news partners, 21Alive, the Feds are ramping-up their efforts to battle violent gangs with its Safe Streets Initiative. The program is designed to break up gangs. A special agent with the FBI says their efforts aren’t just about the shootings, and includes other violent crimes like robberies and burglaries.  Last year, the FBI shutdown the Outlaws motorcycle gang through this program.
