PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. (AP): Authorities say a Florida man made threats on the Internet to shoot up a school.

A Port St. Lucie police report says 20-year-old Benjamin Olsen was charged Thursday with making threats.

The report says someone first called police in Bloomington, Indiana, after seeing a Facebook chat group post that read, “Time to shoot up dem schools today fam,” along with a picture of a man holding a rifle. Indiana authorities traced the post to an address in Port St. Lucie, Florida, and police there responded.

Port St. Lucie police say Olsen confirmed he made the posts but was only “trolling” to upset people. Officers also found what turned out to be the air rifle from the picture.
Olsen was being held on $15,000 bail. Jail records didn’t list an attorney.
