Flu-Like Hog Virus Sweeping Indiana, US

LOGANSPORT, Ind. (AP): Agriculture officials say a fast-moving virus has infected hogs across Indiana and the nation since it was introduced on American soil less than a year ago. The Indiana State Board of Animal Health reports porcine epidemic diarrhea virus has infected farms in at least 43 Indiana counties. The National Animal Health Laboratory Network indicates 26 other states have reported cases.
