Flu-Related Deaths Reach 21 in Indiana

The Indiana State Department of Health reported the updated number Monday. It says two of the deaths have occurred in individuals younger than 18.

The agency say no official shortages of the influenza vaccine have been reported, but some people might find it more difficult to find the vaccine because of high demand. It says a vaccine locator can be found at www.Flu.gov and that the vaccine typically can be found at local health departments, pharmacies and with health care providers. Vaccinations are recommended for anyone 6 months old or older.
