Fort Wayne deadly shooting victim identified

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The man who was shot early Sunday morning and later died in a hospital has been identified.

Jarred Ruhl, 24, of Fort Wayne died from a gunshot wound, according to the Allen County Coroner’s Office.

Ruhl was found by police in the 5500 block of Glenridge Drive around 2 a.m. Sunday. He had a gunshot wound in his abdomen.

The Fort Wayne Police Department, the Allen County Coroner’s Office and the Allen County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office are investigating the shooting.
