FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) – Two Fort Wayne donut shops are starting a new chapter under a new name.

After operating as Jack’s Donuts franchises for six years, owners Matthew and Jaimee Wilkinson have rebranded their locations as Rebel Donuts.

The couple says the move allows them to operate independently and create a business that better reflects their vision and ties to the Fort Wayne community.

According to 21 Alive News, they say the name Rebel Donuts represents their decision to break away from the franchise model and forge their own path.
