FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A Fort Wayne man has been arrested in the death of a 2-month old child Monday.

Julio Carillo was arrested Tuesday on a felony charge of neglect of a dependent resulting in serious bodily injury, according to our partners in news at ABC 21.

Police received a report that an infant was seriously injured at a home in the 100 block of Pontiac Street. The child then died.

Carrillo, who lives down the street, was booked into the Allen County Jail. He is held on a $10,000 bond.

He is scheduled to return to court on March 16.
