Fort Wayne Man Paralyzed In Crash

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) – A Fort Wayne man was injured in a single-vehicle crash in DeKalb County this week.

It happened just before 3 a.m. on Friday on C.R. 40 near Noble County. 

Reports say the man was using his cell phone while driving. The distraction caused him to leads the roadway and hit a ditch.

Police believe speed was also a factor in the incident.

The man, who has not been named, was transported to the hospital and found to have a spinal fracture and a partially paralyzed leg.
