FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) – Fort Wayne Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying two strong arm robbery suspects captured in the above surveillance photos.
On Thursday, August 30, around 10:12 p.m., police were dispatched to reports of a robbery at a laundromat in the 3800 block of S. Calhoun Street.
Once at the scene, police found a man bleeding from injuries inflicted by the reported robbers.

He told police he was cleaning the laundromat after it closed at 8:30 p.m., when a black man entered and tried to use one of the washing machines. He told the man they were closed.
This angered the man, who left and returned shortly after, around 9:50 or 10 p.m. He had another black man with him, who both began attacking the victim.
One of the men grabbed the victim from behind in a choke hold while the other rummaged through his pockets. They took his keys, knocked him out, and went outside to rummage through his car.

The victim says he was knocked out for about three minutes, and when he awoke and went out to his vehicle, he noticed it was rummaged through but nothing was stolen. The two men had since disappeared with his keys.
Surveillance photos were then taken from the cameras the following day, and police are searching for the two suspects shown.
Anyone who recognizes either of them, or knows of their whereabouts, are asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 436-7867.
