Madison County, KY. (WOWO) — Steven Sumner, a former Indiana councilman and pastor, has been arrested in Kentucky after evading authorities for over two years.

He faces multiple felony charges, including rape, child seduction, and possession of child pornography.

Sumner failed to appear at a court hearing in 2023.

The arrest was made by the Madison County Sheriff’s Department and U.S. Marshals following an Indiana State Police investigation that began in 2020.
