UPDATE: Three arrests made in connection to 1st Source bank robbery

UPDATE: Officers with the Fort Wayne Police Department made three arrests Saturday afternoon in connection with the 1st Source Bank robbery that occurred Saturday morning. 

The three suspects below are currently confined and each have been charged with one count of Felony Robbery.

40-year-old Byron Curry 
25-year-old Starr Carter 
19-year-old Kayla Johnson

 

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Officers with the Fort Wayne Police Department are currently questioning three people in connection to a bank robbery at 1st Source Bank.

Police say the bank, located at 6304 W. Jefferson Boulevard, was robbed just after 10:00 a.m., Saturday by three people wearing masks. The trio entered the branch and demanded money. No customers were inside the bank and luckily no injuries were reported, but it’s unknown if the trio got away with anything or if they were armed.

The suspects took off in a SUV, but police were able to catch up with the vehicle, after an officer spotted the vehicle traveling on Ardmore Avenue. All three suspects are being interviewed.

Meanwhile, the incident remains under investigation.
