FWFD investigating vacant house fire

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A vacant house was heavily damaged by a fire early this morning.

The Fort Wayne Fire Department tells WOWO News firefighters were called to the 2700 block West Washington Center Road just before 1 a.m. to find the house fully engulfed in flames.

Crews were able to keep the fire from spreading to any other structures, bringing it under control within 15 minutes.

The fire started in the living room. Its cause is still under investigation.
