NEW HAVEN, Ind. (WOWO): New Haven residents are preparing for life with a new trash company in the new year.

Republic Services will provide trash service in the beginning of the new year to New Haven residents. That also means new trash totes will be delivered to residents on December 21st and new recycling totes on December 28th. 

Collection day will remain the same, with bi-weekly recycling the same day as trash pickup. Garbage bills will be separate from the water bill as well and the first bill will arrive during the month of December. 

Earth First will stop service automatically at the end of December.
