FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) — Just after 9:30 Monday morning, Fort Wayne police tried to stop a driver near Lima and Ludwig Roads.

Instead of pulling over, he hit the gas, leading officers-and several backup agencies-on a pursuit into Whitley County.

It ended near SR 205 and Madden Road, where the suspect refused to comply.

Officers called in the Emergency Services Team, Crisis Response Team, and even air support to safely bring him into custody.

The investigation is still ongoing.
