Governor Pence Encourages Hoosiers to Keep Helping Oklahoma Victims

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind (WOWO): Today Governor Mike Pence applauded Hoosiers for their efforts to help the victims of the tornado in Oklahoma earlier this week.

“When faced with tragedy, Hoosiers respond,” said Governor Pence. “On behalf of the State of Indiana, I commend the countless Hoosiers offering their time and resources to assist those impacted by the devastating tornadoes in Oklahoma. The First Lady and I extend our deepest condolences to the families of those who lost loved ones and offer our continued thoughts and prayers for those affected as they grieve and begin to rebuild in the days and weeks ahead.”

Yesterday, Governor Pence spoke with Oklahoma Governor Mary Fallin and offered Indiana’s full assistance and support for the people of Oklahoma.
