GRABILL, Ind. (WOWO): A farm-to-fork business near Grabill that looked like it may not happen appears to be back on track after all.

Grabill Farms LLC would house a greenhouse as well as a fish and shrimp processing facility on Page Road just southwest of Grabill. The fish would be farmed on site and then sold in an on-site retail store and possibly to local restaurants and retailers.

Aenders were unsure of the concept and Grabill Farms had trouble getting financing. However, that financing has reportedly been acquired, according to the Journal-Gazette, and a five-year extension on getting the site up and running has been approved. It will also employ 19 people when it’s finished.
