Historic Steam Locomotive to Take Trips in Fort Wayne

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A historic steam locomotive will operate a series of passenger trips in Fort Wayne this July. The Fort Wayne Railroad Historical Society will host an excursion of Nickel Plate Road steam locomotive No. 765 on July 18 and 19. It'll travel one round trip per day from Fort Wayne to Lafayette in a trip called the Wabash Cannonball. The locomotive also will be on display this summer at the Steamtown National Historic Site in Scranton, Pennsylvania.
