CHICAGO, Ill. (WOWO): Friday, the Gatorade Company announced Caleb Swanigan of Homestead High School as its 2014-15 Gatorade Indiana Boys Basketball Player of the Year. Swanigan is the first Gatorade Indiana Boys Basketball Player of the Year to be chosen from Homestead High School, and is now in the running for Gatorade National Boys Basketball Player of the Year award.
  
The award recognizes outstanding athletic excellence, and high standards of academic achievement and exemplary character demonstrated on and off the court.
