FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) — The Fort Wayne Fire Department responded to a house fire late Friday morning on the city’s southeast side, north of Weisser Park.

Crews were dispatched around 11 a.m. to the 2900 block of John Street, between McKee and Colerick Streets. According to FWFD Public Information Officer and Assistant Chief Jonathan Flickinger, no one was home when the fire broke out, and no injuries were reported.

Firefighters worked to bring the blaze under control, and an investigation into the cause of the fire is underway.
