FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO):  Fire crews battled a blaze an abandoned home late Saturday night.  

Around 10:04 p.m. the Fort Wayne Fire Department arrived to 2211 Dale Drive south of downtown Fort Wayne.  Fire was coming from the back end of the empty house.  It took 17 minutes to control the fire, and the building took heavy fire and smoke damage.  No one was hurt in the incident.
