INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WOWO): Who will be Donald Trump’s running mate for the Republican Presidential ticket?

Politico identified Indiana Governor Mike Pence and Indiana US Senator Dan Coats as those among Trump’s potential running mates, but both have denied such talk to the Journal Gazette.

Coats is retiring from the Senate and is apparently “focused on his remaining time as a Senator,” according to a spokesman. Meanwhile a spokesman for Pence’s re-election campaign tells the paper Pence has “no interest” in becoming a vice presidential candidate.

Trump, who visited Fort Wayne May 1st, says he’s narrowed down his list of potential running mates to “five or six” candidates.
