NOBLE COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO) – Noble County police are searching for a missing man after he escaped from the courthouse Friday morning.

Our partners in news at ABC 21 report Zachary Centers was in court for a hearing Friday morning when he went downstairs and left the building before security was able to stop him.

Centers reportedly escaped through downtown Albion. He has an active warrant for invasion of privacy, and police are intending to file additional charges for resisting law enforcement.

Police were not able to find him immediately after his escape Friday, and the search was eventually called off.

If you’ve seen Centers, or know of his whereabouts, you’re asked to call the sheriff’s department at (260) 636-2182.
