Indiana Liquor Stores Criticize New Alcohol Delivery App

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Indiana liquor stores are criticizing  a new alcohol delivery app because they believe it could make it easier for minors to obtain alcohol.

Big Red Liquors told the Indianapolis Business Journal they implemented safeguards to make sure the app doesn't result in deliveries to minors or anyone who may be already intoxicated.

The Journal Gazette reports ID will be verified through the app and by delivery drivers. Drivers also won’t deliver products to minors or to an environment where use by minors is likely, such as college campuses.
