FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) — The Indiana National Guard is set to deploy about 50 members to assist Immigration and Customs Enforcement by mid-September.
Their role will be limited to support functions – including logistics, vehicle upkeep, and data entry.
Officials say the guardsmen will not be involved in arrests.
The deployment is part of a broader national push to reinforce ICE operations.

BOOOOOOOOOO Shame on you National Guard of Indiana. Your pledged to protect and support citizens of the United States, not harass and support Kidnappers and
Bullies, like ICE. I do not want my tax dollar or support to fund that type of activity.
Good for you National Guard of Indiana!! Supporting ICE or any of our gov’t / civilain authrorities is welcome! Our police have been beat up on for years and ICE wasn’t allowed to do their job. NOW they can and if help is needed within our State, I appreciate your help!
