Indiana Psychologist Loses License Over Fraud

INDIANAPOLIS (AP): A former southeastern Indiana psychologist has surrendered her state license after admitting she fraudulently billed Medicaid for patient therapy she never provided. Seventy-year-old Medea Woods of Rising Sun also was sentenced to more than seven years of probation after pleading guilty last week to charges of Medicaid fraud and theft. Woods practiced at Burnham Woods Counseling North in Madison.
