Indianapolis Man Agrees to Plead Guilty in Wife’s Killing

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) _ An Indianapolis man convicted 20 years ago in the slaying of his first wife has agreed to plead guilty in his second wife's killing.

Fifty-year-old Tony Degrafreed agreed Friday to plead guilty to murder and battery charges in the July 2014 killing of Rebecca Degrafreed, who was found beaten with her throat slit in her bedroom. He'll be sentenced Oct. 2.

WRTV reports that Degrafreed is also accused of stabbing his Rebecca Degrafreed's 19-year-old son in the same attack.

Degrafreed was convicted in March 1995 of the murder of this first wife, Stacy Degrafreed. He was sentenced to 30 years in prison, but only served 11 years.
