FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) – Fort Wayne police are investigating after a five-day-old infant was taken to the hospital in critical condition Saturday.

The infant was taken to the emergency room by family members, and emergency personnel notified the police shortly thereafter.

At this time, police are unsure of how the infant was injured or who may be responsible.
