IU Student Pleads Not Guilty to Bomb-Making Charge

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (AP): An Indiana University student has pleaded not guilty to trying to make a bomb after investigators found dangerous chemicals and other materials in his apartment. Twenty-year-old Ryder Pickens was being held yesterday in the Monroe County Jail on $1 million bond. IU spokesman Mark Land told The Herald Times that Pickens is a pre-informatics student from Danville and enrolled at IU for the spring term.
