Kentucky Man Indicted by Jury in Evansville for Credit Card Fraud

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WOWO): A man from Louisville, Kentucky has been indicted by a federal grand jury in Evansville on charges of credit card fraud targeting faculty and staff members at IUPUI in Indianapolis, the University of Indianapolis, Franklin College and six other schools in Kentucky and Illinois.

Police say 43-year-old Marcus Minter visited all nine campuses, stealing credit cards, until he was caught and arrested for the attempted theft of a staff member at the college in Franklin. That prompted an investigation involving campus police, the Indiana Intelligence Fusion Center, the International Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators and US Secret Service Agents. Minter awaits trial.
