INDIANA, (WOWO): Indiana’s unemployment rate is down .2% of a percent to 8.5%. 

While that doesn’t sound like a lot, it is the largest one month decrease in more than a year. 

April also recorded the biggest drop in the total number of unemployed in over a year. 

The jobless rate in St. Joseph County is at 9.7% In Elkhart County, it is at 8.2%.
